Modern car design is facing a turning point from product-centric to consumer-centered.It has an important guiding role in reviewing design solutions in the design stage of car styling.It is efficient and accurate to find consumers’ demand points through review.It can reduce the production cost of the solid model and the time cost of research and development,shorten the development cycle,and gain market initiative.At present,design review is usually based on traditional evaluation methods such as expert scoring or leading individual decision-making,which does not reflect the user’s experience and feelings.Therefore,we hope that through a general evaluation method,the car model can give the stylist more objective,quantitative and reference value evaluation results in various design steps,and then solve the subjectivity of designers and consumers.Understand the cognitive bias problem that arises.In this study,a car exterior aesthetic model was used as an entry point to develop an aesthetic evaluation method for automobile modeling based on multimodal physiological data.A feasible evaluation experiment was carried out to improve the accuracy of the conclusion by combining eye movement and EEG analysis.Feature extraction of human physiological changes caused by automobile styling,and finally establish an evaluation plan for the automotive design department to provide objective evaluation opinions,and play a qualitative and quantitative guidance in all stages of automobile design.effect.Improving the car’s styling design through quantitative evaluation methods can enhance the user experience and enable designers to improve the design based on quantitative results.At the same time,enterprises can also carry out horizontal comparison between benchmark models,implement precise marketing for different user groups,explore user groups or individual interest points,design car models in a targeted manner,and expand new market for car sales with private customized design.This paper first introduces the theory of user experience evaluation,physiological data analysis,and aesthetic principles of automobile modeling in the aesthetic evaluation method of automobile modeling of multimodal physiological data.This paper provides a theoretical basis for the experimental design,experimental equipment application and conclusion analysis of automotive modeling.The specific experimental design and experimental process,as well as the preprocessing of the original multimodal physiological data,are explained.Including the superposition of eye movement data,the output of the heat map and the trajectory map,the division of the AOI region of interest and the calculation of the eye movement physiology index,the de-interference processing of the EEG data and the frequency domain split processing,and then combined with the eye movement data Modal physiological data analysis.At the end of the multimodal physiological data,the overall and local details of the car model are analyzed,and which parts of the car shape are most attractive to the user,which design elements of the car shape are loved by the user,help the design the division improved the design and improved the user’s aesthetic experience.
