Ordinary turbocharging technology can cause problems such as insufficient torque of the diesel engine at low speed and deterioration of partial load performance.Variable geometry turbocharger(VGT)technology can improve diesel transient performance and further reduce fuel consumption,which is of great significance for reducing environmental pollution and reducing energy shortage.In this paper,a low-speed diesel engine is taken as the research object.Under the condition that the structural parameters and performance indexes of the model are fully understood,various performance simulation and control systems are established.Firstly,the steady-state GT-POWER software simulation model of the model is established and corrected by understanding the structural parameters and performance parameters of the diesel engine,and the accuracy of the model is verified.Using this model,the simulation of variable geometry turbocharger and this type of diesel engine was carried out to study the influence of the opening degree of variable section turbocharger on the performance of diesel engine.Then use the optimization function provided by GT-POWER software to optimize the target with the lowest effective fuel consumption rate,perform performance simulation,and determine the optimal opening of the variable geometry turbocharger under various conditions under the propulsion characteristics.Steady-state control MAP map of a variable geometry turbocharger with characteristics.According to the system requirements,the corresponding actuators were selected to study the kinematics relationship of the control system actuators.Completed the design and production of the microcontroller hardware system,the hardware includes the circuit board,control box and sensor.Complete the overall design of the control system software,modularize the software according to the implementation function,and complete the writing of each software module.Finally,the simulation test of the control system shows that the simulation program can accurately simulate the performance of the supercharged diesel engine;the control box can accurately control the position of the variable geometry turbocharger blade according to the control strategy.
