Analysis On The Regularity Of Inland Waterway Transportation Of Agricultural Products In Haiyan County

Haiyan County,a county under the administration of Jiaxing City,Zhejiang Province,is located on the Hangjiahu Plain in the northern part of Zhejiang Province,covering 18%(96.26 square kilometers)of its total area of the 534.73 square kilometers mainland with river courses,lakes,and other waters.It is a typical land of fish and rice of southern Yangtze River with a long history of well developed agriculture.More than 5000 years ago,there were pioneers engaged in agricultural,pastoral,fishing and hunting activities in the territory.According to statistics,90% of the building materials needed by the county,60% of the coal used for production and living and 80% of the oil are completed by inland river shipping.Haiyan County has abundant water resources,dense water networks,and vertical and horizontal rivers.With its unique conditions for developing inland waterway transportation,Haiyan is among the most developed areas in Zhejiang Province,which is famous for waterway transportation.This paper provides a more thorough and comprehensive understanding of the relationship between the transport of agricultural products and the development of the socio-economic development of Haiyan county,especially from the aspect of agriculture.In addition,it also re-examines the role of the waterway transportation industry in the economic development of the local region,offering a better way of taking advantage of the characteristics of the inland waterway transportation that marks "Low energy consumption,small occupied area,large traffic volume,low cost and small pollution" in the hope of realization of ecological green growth of the local social economy.Through collecting the relevant data on grain throughput,regional economic indicators and grain production of Haiyan County in the past years of 2010~ 2017,and through statistical analysis of big data,the development law between agriculture and waterway transportation of agricultural products has been identified.In the absence of a direct relationship between the two above,through applying relevant theories and knowledge of grey systems that can find out the invisible relation and with the help of SPSS statistical analysis software and Matlab software,the correlation between waterway transportation of grain and socio-economic development of Haiyan county was calculated,affirming that waterway transportation and agriculture complement each other.Based on big data statistical analysis and SPSS grey relational degree analysis,this paper believes that waterway transportation of agricultural products in Haiyan county and regional social economy,especially the agricultural development in Haiyan county,are mutually influenced and mutually beneficial.They are inseparable and closely related.We should attach great importance to the waterway transportation of agricultural products so as to make better contribution to the development of social economy.Finally,this paper carries out SWOT analysis on waterway transportation of agricultural products in Haiyan county,and gives some countermeasures and suggestions for the harmonious development of waterway transportation and agricultural economy in Haiyan county.
