UHV transmission is an important trend of China's future transmission technology.As an important foundation of the entire power system,UHV substation shoulders an important responsibility in the voltage change and regulation of power systems,playing an irreplaceable role in transmission.With the continuous expansion of the scale of substations,users have higher and higher requirements for power supply quality.In order to solve the above problems,the construction of UHV substations has become an important issue to be solved in the future construction of power grids.In this paper,the primary system design of a 1000 kV UHV substation in a certain area is based on the characteristics of the grid operation mode.The main transformer and reactive power compensation mode are selected,focusing on the selection of electrical main wiring,electrical main equipment and power distribution equipment.Several aspects are studied in detail.In this way,the design of the primary system is determined to ensure the safe and stable operation of the substation.This paper firstly designs the transformer,introduces the selection of the short-circuit voltage percentage and the calculation method of the reactive power compensation,focuses on the transformer protection configuration,including the scheme design and setting calculation,and introduces the adaptive algorithm of the differential protection of the on-load tap changer.And carry out tuning calculation and simulation verification.Then,by comparing the main wiring scheme,choose a reasonable wiring method.Finally,the equipment selection work was completed,and the design ideas were integrated into one.The power distribution device,lightning protection,and the whole station grounding network were designed,and the design of the electrical primary system was completed.Different from the high-voltage ultra-high voltage substation,this paper focuses on the design of transformer and line relay protection,and analyzes the influence of the percentage of short-circuit voltage of UHV transformer in detail.Each part of the design focuses on the UHV problem and designs the primary system of the UHV substation.The article concludes with a summary of the primary system design for a 1000 kV substation.The shortcomings of the paper,namely the application of new technology,are put forward,and the future development and bright prospects of the substation are prospected.
