Reasearch On Inventory Management Optimization Of K Company

With the upgrading of modern management level in automobile parts industry,the managers comes to realize the importance of inventory management for the enterprise’s operation and development.Inventory management can save the working money,increase the profit ratio,but also can develop the good relationship between the suppliers and the clients.As a typical parts manufacturer,K company depends on high-level stock to avoid all kinds of problems occurredin the opration process,the resons for this is because of the type of production(discrete,variety and small amount)and the weak positon in the supplychain.All the problems mentioned make the inventory management in K company become more and more important.At first,the author researched the paper’s theoretical and realistic significancefor K company and put forward the research ideas and research methods.Secondly,the author introduced the traditional and supplychian inventory management theory,deeply analysed the problems occurred in the K company and summerised the real reasons form various angles based on the historical data of K company.Thirdly,Put forward four optimization measures such as demand forcasting,ABC,fixed-order/fixed-time quantity models,and JMI to solve the problems mentiond in chapter 3.Then,the author listed four safeguard measures from the angles of organization structure,information systems,routine management of the warehouse,and the performance assess so as to make the optimization measures work smoothly.At last,the author summerised the expecting effect after the use of optimization measures.There are some common inventory management problems among the manufacture enterprise,so the inventory management research of K company not only optimize the K company’s inventory management,but also provide a universal guidebook for the other parts manufactures.
