From The Experience Of Life To The "Humanization" Environment Design Practice

In the social form of experience economy and the supremacy of experience,the word "experience" has become an important goal of design activities.In the design activities,people's experience has the dimension of time and the depth of space.They can experience the different activities before participating in the design and also have the personal feelings after it.Design's essence is the experience of the audience group and its core is people-oriented activities.Environmental design is the design of people's living environment space.It's purpose is to meet people's physiological,psychological and spiritual needs at multiple levels,so it can achieve people-oriented design.Therefore,"humanized" environmental design should start from experience to obtain design materials,seek for creative inspiration and meet the needs of body and mind.Experience is a cognitive state generated by people's personal experience.Through people's visual,auditory,tactile,olfactory and taste senses,they produce a variety of sensory cognition,which acts on human brain and nerve responses.Experience is realized by the five senses.People's experience is the cognition of the five senses to the external environment.This article will recognize the importance of experience in environmental design practice through the five senses and combine domestic and foreign cases to analysis the application in the environmental design.It can guide space form,color,light,material and a variety of design elements of science and technology to obtain experience cognition and create "humanized" design which accords with human body engineering,psychology and other subjects.At Ding xi's97 station and Xinyang's Olympic square as an example,in order to attain the goal of "humanization" design,this article analyses the needs of people of good experience in the environment space from the five senses and provide design source and methods of "humanized design”to achieve physical comfort,safety,the spirit of joy and harmony and a better design for serving people.
