Semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is used in the most high-grade highways in our country.The early question of asphalt pavement caused by the shrinkage and cracking of inorganic binder stabilized base has been paid more and more attention.In recent years,more and more flexible base asphalt pavement has been paid more and more attention in our country.However,the low modulus and easy permanent deformation of graded crushed stone base limit its use under heavy traffic conditions.SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone can improve the modulus of graded crushed stone layer and its rut resistance greatly.SRX polymer base has been widely used in foreign countries,while the related research in China has just started and it is still in the stage of verification.Based on this,the composition design of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone was carried out through laboratory test.The influence factors on the strength of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone were also studied.the water stability,water permeability and the resistance to permanent deformation of SRX polymer stabilized graded broken stone were studied by different combination ratios,and the test road of the SRX polymer stabilized graded broken stone base asphalt pavement was finally paved.The composition design of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone was carried out by indoor CBR test,the reasonable SRX content of SRX polymer stabilized graded macadam and the optimum mixture ratio was confirmed.The effects of SRX content,gradation,compactness,aggregate lithology,curing conditions and curing time on the strength of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone were analyzed.It was found that the advantage of the SRX polymer was more prominent,that was the higher the CBR value of the SRX polymer stabilized graded broken stone.the compactness of SRX polymer stabilized graded macadam base should be controlled to 98% or more.The CBR value of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone for granite aggregate was greater than that of limestone.The strength of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone under oven curing at 50? was obviously higher than that under natural curing.The design strength and indoor standard curing time of SRX polymer stabilized graded macadam was suggested.The road performance of 9 kinds of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone mixture was evaluated from three aspects: water stability,water permeability and resistance to permanent deformation.It was found that the strength of SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone base changed less after water erosion.Under the condition of different graduation and SRX polymer content,the water permeability coefficient and DS of SRX polymer stabilized graded macadam were higher.The SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone had higher mechanical strength,water permeability coefficient,rut resistance and good water stability,indicating that SRX polymer stabilized graded crushed stone could be used in base course.
