Research Based On Building Updating Under The Protection Of Traditional Village Style

Unprecedented opportunities and challenges are brought to building updating in traditional villages due to rapid social and economic development today,leading to integration and collision of different building materials and construction technologies during the building updating process.As exchanges in knowledge and technologies,they bring about rapid updating of buildings and losing of styles and features of some traditional villages.Especially,the most simple and economic building materials and construction methods are usually adopted in economically underdeveloped areas,leading to elimination of building regionalism due to homoplasy and similar spatial arrangement forms in traditional villages,giving rise to damaged styles and features of traditional villages and eliminated traditional features.Traditional villages are important carriers inheriting and reflecting the culture in our country,which shall be inherited and continued.Based on research and analysis findings in practice and theories of domestic and foreign village building updating,it is needed to update buildings so that buildings in existing traditional villages can adapt to modern life.In order to ensure that the styles and features of buildings after updating are in accordance with the overall styles and features of buildings in traditional villages,it is needed to improve residence comfort and protect and continue traditional village styles and features.The building updating method based on protection on traditional villages in styles and features is proposed on this basis.Since traditional buildings in traditional village are carriers of inherent charms of traditional villages,it is needed to utilize new technologies and combine them with traditions during the updating process.It is needed to respect historical culture during updating instead of taking building updating as a closed archaistic container with high energy consumption.With the example of Mengzhongpuzi in Shimian,Ya'an,Sichuan,simulation and exploration are conducted to protection of buildings with traditional village styles and features.Reasonable protection and updating methods are proposed based on analysis results,to provide theoretical references for building updating for protection of current traditional village styles and features.
