Home Product Design Based On Chan Aesthetics

One flower,one world,one leaf,one bodhi.This simple Chan idiom has seen through the laws and all the other things of the world.In the era with rapid economic development,we are often blinded by the world of eagerness and quick success.In a world like this,there is a need to calm down the heart and let the heart trace the original beauty of the world.Today's home product design has shown many problems of taking only commercial interests into account and making with rough work.This kind of design ignored the design process itself and the user's practical experience.The broad aesthetic connotation of Chan aesthetics brings spiritual comfort to impetuous modern people.So,let us seek tranquility in the world of our inner heart.As an early aesthetic representative of China,Chan aesthetics has an important historical status.Its aesthetic design features have important reference value for modern home product design.This paper studies the origin of Chan thought and the concept of Chan aesthetics and analyzes the typical representative Chan products of home and abroad.It also concludes the design features of Chan aesthetics and summarizes the enlightenment brought by typical Chan home products.Thus,it proposes the design method of Chan home product.Being combined with the modern home design concept,this designmethod is applied to the case of home product design which is a kind of inheritance of the traditional Chinese culture.The paper combines Chan aesthetics with home product design,from the ideological connotation to the design practice cases,which provides a new design research perspective for home product design,and provides more design ideas and experiences for similar designs.
