Review the evolution of tubesheet design method which based on the equivalent tubesheet with adjusted "effective elastic constants".Collating the bending stress calculate method of fixed tubesheet from ASME ?-1 & GB/T 151 standards.The deferens of these two methods was dogged out based on the mechanical model of two standards: select of effective elastic constants,support area of tubesheet by the tube bundle,rigidity of the ring part of the tubesheet,verify of maximum stress occur out of equivalent tubesheet and amend of the bending stress at the edge of the equivalent tubesheet.On the hand,load case and allowable stress was also compared with these two standards.Local bending stress of the tubesheet was calculated in three methods of GB151,ASME and FEA in specific design condition.Bending stress at the surface of the tubesheet was draw by radial direction.Bending stress appear plus and minus result at the seam surface because of the support of the tube bundle,thus the maximum local stress of the tube sheet not only occur at edge of equivalent area but also likely occur in equivalent area.The biggish local stress at the edge of equivalent tubesheet in ASME method was not existed in FEA method,smooth transition was superseded at this area.
