Moisture separator reheater (MSR)is one of a key essential components in thereheating system of the conventional island of nuclear plants. The main function of MSR is toconserve energy and enhance the efficiency of the turbine.MSR, turbine and generator arethree most important devices in the conventional island of nuclear plants and the tubingsystem, as the core component of MSR, features complex structure, strict technicalrequirements and great manufacturing difficulties. Currently, several companies in China havealready manufactured MSRs for1000MW nuclear plants. However, the manufacturingtechnology is not stable enough and some problems are yet to be resolved.This thesis, from the perspective of summarization and improvement, concludes andanalyzes problems in localization of crucial technologies of the piping system of MSR, tracestheories of technologies most important to the quality of the piping system of MSR includingstainless-steel cladding of the tubesheet, deep-hole drilling of the tubesheet, tube-to-tubesheetexpanded connection, tube-to-tubesheet seal welding, carries out argumentation throughrelevant procedure qualification, procedure testing or supporting technological means,improves the technical process and parameters, so as to enhance key manufacturingtechnologies of the piping system, ensure its quality and guide subsequent manufacture. It isof great relevant significance to develop batch-production capacity, raise localization ratio ofthe quality level of the manufacture of nuclear plants and especially to enhanceThrough summarization and improvement, this thesis achieves results as follows:By improving relevant parameters of cladding, the quality of tubesheet cladding hasbeen greatly enhanced which99.6%can pass relevant tests at a time;For tubesheet deep-hole drilling, this thesis, through studies on various deep-holedrilling methods, confirms reasonability of current BTA drills;This thesis creatively proposes to replace machinery positioning expansion withrubber expansion and machinery expansion with hydraulic pressure expiation, sothat the quality of tube-to-tubesheet welding bead is ensured which can passrelevant tests at a time, and improve the expansion efficiency severalfold; For inspection on tube-to-tubesheet welding bead, this thesis creatively proposes toreplace ammonia leakage detecting with helium leakage detecting and designshelium leakage detecting tool applicable to batch production.
