The environmental problem of human existence has been a worldwide concern.How to solve the exhaust gas and pollution caused by traditional automobile has become one of the hottest topics in recent years.The new energy vehicles,which provide the solution to this problem,have been recognized as the next generation of vehicles.However,the high invest to new energy automobile R&D requires a new cooperative mode for R&D,which called "collaborative innovation".With Collaborative innovation,enterprises break the boundaries between regions and industries,share knowledge and resources,make product innovation and increase product competitiveness.This paper analyzed literatures and other materials,integrated the theory about origin,connotation,typical mode and influencing factors of collaborative innovation.On this basis,we took Denza new energy vehicle as a typical case,introduced the brand's background,resource structure and mode of collaborative innovation through field investigation and case analysis method,and empirically analyzed the motivation,the internal and external influencing factors and the mode of their collaborative innovation.Finally,we compared the collaborative innovation model of Denza brand with the their main competitors Tesla and Baic Group,which illustrated that different realistic conditions will bring different modes of collaborative innovation,and lead to different innovation output.Through these analyses,this paper illustrated the opportunities and constraints brought by collaborative innovation to Denza brand and other China new energy vehicle industry.
