Study On Garden Space And Characteristic Environments Of Puzhao Temple In Mount Tai

Mount Tai ranks the first one in the "Five Sacred Mountains".As the only Buddhist temple in Daiyang,Puzhao Temple is an important part of the ancient architectural complex of Mount Tai,bearing the profound cultural connotation of Mount Tai.Through the interpretation of the existing inscriptions in the courtyard and the compilation of historical data,as well as the establishment of a spatial model after field mapping,this paper makes the analysis of the development and evolution of the "essence" part of Puzhao Temple,the analysis of the overall spatial form and the analysis of the courtyard space.The garden landscape improvement design was adopted for the “dross” part of the development of the temple landscape,and the theory and techniques of modern landscape construction were incorporated.In the chapter of development and evolution,the relations between ManKong,Yuanyu and Feng Yuxiang,etc.and the Temple were clarified,and the characteristics of the site selection of Puzhao Temple were summarized.The construction and repair records of the Puzhao Temple in Mount Tai were compiled and concluded.And the historical evolution maps of the architectural layout of Puzhao Temple in the five periods are deduced.In the chapter of spatial morphology analysis,the plane layout and spatial layout of the architectural groups are summarized,and the spatial organization mode of “Platform +Courtyard + Architecture” is concluded.It sums up the method of gardening in the temple,the spatial sequence organization of the temple and the spatial modulus and perspective analysis of the building.The spatial sequence of "starting","inheriting","turning" and "closing" in Puzhao Temple consists of incense road,Double Mountain gates and courtyards of all levels of buildings,which constitute a complete and harmonious spatial sequence.In the chapter of courtyard space analysis,the main monolithic buildings such as the Daxiong Hall are analyzed,and the architectural features are analyzed from the aspects of the roof decoration,color painting,Plaques and couplets.The paper summarizes the two independent elements of plants and sketches and focuses on the analysis of the artistic conception of ancient trees and famous religious sketches such as pagodas and incense burners.In addition,the six boundary elements of walls,doors,corridors,building doors and windows,water bodies and pavements are summarized.In the chapter of the temple landscape improvement,aiming at the three major problems of weak protection consciousness,lack of Zen landscape nodes and single space element outside the temple,the transformation strategy is proposed in the overall landscape protection planning,ecological landscape upgrading design and historical landscape culture development.According to various policies and regulations,combined with the current situation of the temple,it is suggested to extract historical elements and carry out the overall design and node design,including adding Linglong Yard,merging Xichan Yard and Bamboo Yard,transforming the release pool,enhancing the lotus flower and the surrounding landscape environment,and reforming garden decorations to make Puzhao Temple more ecological,ornamental,leisure and experiential.
