In recent years,China has continued to strengthen infrastructure construction,and the civil engineering industry has been further developed.However,with the rapid development of the industry,the drawbacks of its low level of information construction and lagging construction technology are also emerging,BIM technology came into being.Tunnel engineering is an important branch of the civil engineering industry,but the BIM concept has not been widely used in this field.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the application of BIM technology in highway tunnel engineering.Starting from the division rules of tunnel model units,this paper proposes a new naming and information addition rule for highway tunnel model components.In addition,aiming at the problems of complex and diverse tunnel models and low efficiency of modeling,a plug-in for rapid creation and automatic layout of highway tunnel component models is developed based on Revit API.Finally,through the example of the Xinwan tunnel project,the tunnel building model and the tunnel terrain model are established,and the two models are seamlessly integrated to realize the online display of the BIM model of the Xinwan tunnel,which verifies the feasibility of the model unit partition rules and plug-ins proposed in this paper.This can provide reference for the application of BIM technology in other similar tunnel projects.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A component naming rule for the highway tunnel BIM model is proposed,and the information granularity of different component units is summarized according to the geometric and non-geometric information of each unit category.(2)The BIM model of highway tunnel based on Revit is studied,and a parametric modeling algorithm of tunnel components is proposed.A plug-in that enables rapid creation and automatic deployment of tunnel component models has been developed,which can significantly improve modeling efficiency.In addition,the addition of material and attribute information of Revit model is also studied.(3)Taking the Xinwan tunnel project as an example,the tunnel terrain model is established,and the tunnel building model is built by using the plug-in.They are seamlessly integrated on the SuperMap platform,and the online browsing and attribute query of the BIM model of the Xinwan tunnel are realized,and the feasibility of the plug-in is verified.
