Automatic Monitoring And Intelligent Management Of Buoy Position

The intelligent beacons is the foundation and premise of the intelligent channel,which contains two meanings.The first meaning is telemetry and telecontrol for beacons,which means to monitor the location and working state of beacons,and telecontrol them according to the monitoring results.With these two functions,once the beacon is illegally moved or it works abnormally,the system would give alarms to the managers by a variety of ways,so that channel supervisors could find and deal with its problems in time.The second meaning is intelligent check of beacons' position,which means to determine whether it is necessary to shift,remove or rearrange the beacons according to the depth of water near them,after the water level of the channel changed considerably.The above two aspects are the main contents of this thesis.This thesis studied the basic theory of beacons online management,such as beacon management business,software architecture,real-time water depth computing of electronic charts,beacon positions automatic checking,etc.,and based on the research result,we developed a beacon online managing software for Changjiang Chongqing Waterway Bureau,which can be used to manage beacons online automatically.Firstly,beacon real-time working states monitoring.Beacon working states including illegal moving,working current and voltage,beacon lighting states and light-type,positioning state and remote control.Secondly,daily maintaining of beacons,such as designation of beacon locations,add new beacons or delete exist beacons,setting or removing beacons at certain locations,binding or unbinding beacons with terminals,etc.Lastly,beacon real-time position checking.The main aids is to check of beacon position caused by water depth changing occurred automatically online,by this means one can avoid mistakes caused by manual beacon position checking.
