After more than 10 years of rapid development,China's auto sales industry has gradually fallen into the difficult situation of overcapacity,high inventory and sluggish growth.In 2018,China's auto market witnessed negative growth for the first time in 20 years,with passenger car sales increasing by-6%for the whole year.The continuous weakening of the market has led to white-hot competition among automobile dealers,continuously compressed profit margins and intensified pressure on the survival of dealer groups.At the same time,in the context of"Internet plus",concepts such as automobile Internet finance and new automobile retail have emerged one after another.Internet giants,large automobile distribution groups and a large number of emerging startups are all actively exploring new business forms,new models and new opportunities.Fujian YC automobile sales co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as "YC company")was established in September 2015.After more than three years of development,it has gradually formed a business system driven by"b-end+ c-end"twin engines.Its main business is the supply chain service platform for secondary automobile dealers and the national chain automobile supermarkets in third-tier and fourth-tier cities.As of December 2018,YC has 46 direct-sale stores and more than 100 cooperative delivery stores in 29 cities nationwide.In 2017,it achieved sales revenue of over 100 million yuan for the first time,and now it has become an influential new auto retail pioneer in south China.This article through the literature,media reports,field investigation,founder of YC company,store operations,supply chain system,online operation,promoting agent,Internet product development and so on each link carries on the detailed investigation,probed into as a start-up company in the field of automobile new retail,YC company survival and continuous development of the cause of the success.This article from the business model canvas,value chain,competitive strategy and so on a variety of perspectives of YC company's business model development course review and analysis,the following conclusions:first,YC company have certain innovative business model,created the automobile secondary distributor of a kind of new form,is a traditional car secondary distributor to develop in the direction of the Internet and collectivization of upgrade,and integration of industry diversification.Second,YC company's short-term competitive advantage has been formed.Third,YC has not completely established a"moat".It is not impossible for its business model to be imitated and surpassed by competitors,and the sustainability of its competitive advantage needs to be further strengthened.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which comprehensively describes the research background,significance,methods and framework of this paper.The second chapter is a review of relevant theories,including business model,value chain and competitive strategy.The third chapter analyzes the market situation and competitive environment of YC company,and reveals the challenges and threats faced by the industry.Chapter four gives a comprehensive introduction to the development process and business model of YC company.In chapter 5,business model canvas,value chain analysis,competitive strategy and other theories are used to clarify the innovation of YC's business model and measure the sustainability of competitive advantage.Chapter 6 is the key conclusion of the research.
