With the development of UHV construction,the trend of long distance and high voltage level of transmission,more mutual inductance lines appear and the voltage might be tens of kilovots.All these leads to interference of measurement which should not be no longer neglected.According to the voltage level,OHTL can be classified into distribution lines(less than 35k),high voltage transmission lines(110kV-220kV),extra-high-voltage tansmission lines(330kV?500kV)and Ultra-high-voltage transmission lines(more than 1000kV).Power frequency parameter of OHTL refers to the positive sequence capacitance,zero sequence capacitance,positive sequence impedance,Zero Sequence Impedance?inter-circuit mutual inductance reactance and coupling capacitance parameters,which is a set of circuit equivalent parameters indicating the electromagnetic characteristics of power lines.In this paper,the assistant testing instrument of transmisison line parameter is researched and trial prduced,basing on the analysis of problems occurred during the parameter test of transmission line such as long testing time,dangerous,multiple times of grounding swith operation.Firstly objective was set and feasibility analysis of the objective was conducted.The testing time was set for less than 100 minutes,reducting from 132 minutes.For the transmission lines of high induction voltage,the test completion rate of insulation and phase voltage was up to 98 percent.Secondly,the development program was selected based on the analysis and comparision between the two alternatives according to the test principles.Decomposing of the assistant testing instrument of transmisison line parameter was carried out afterwards and selection of each modules in accordance with the design was conducted for the final combination of real instrument.Eventually,test and assessment of the instrument was conducted and the result was compared with the objectvie goals.Then its economic and social benefits were calculated and analyzed.
