With the rapid development of social economy,the income gap between different groups is expanding,which caused a lot of problems of social stratification.In recent years,the urbanization in China has entered high-speed developing period and people living standard improved.In this context,transportation planning must make changes to deal with the varied demands of different people.Rail transit,as an important public resource,is one of the important factors,which affect people from different social classes access to other resources and the quality of life.However,present-day rail transit network planning relies on the average index,lacking of consideration of the problem of stratum differentiation,which makes a great difference between actual demand and forecast demand.This leads to the mismatch between supply and demand.Under this background,this paper focuses on social stratification.On the basis of population distribution,the paper studies the demand of people from different social classes to rail transit and the adaptability between rail transit network and social space on macro,mesosphere and micro levels.On macro level,the collocate of rail transit in Beijing is measured by using Lorenz Curve and Gini Coefficient.The results show that different people occupy different rail transit resources.On mesosphere level,take urban circle layer as the basic unit to study the adaptability between Beijing rail transit network and social space distribution.On the micro level,this paper studies on the effect of the premium between rail transit and real estate on social space.The research found that that the low-class people need much more rail transit,but they cannot get close to it.And this paper takes TiantongyUan District as a micro-case for in-depth study.Finally,according to the conclusions of the study,the paper gives some suggestions in order that can make the planning of rail transit network more reasonable.
