With the development of technology,smart home has been more popular to the public.These smart home devices,like smart switch,smart sensor,smart air conditioner and so on,have made our lives much more convenient.However,the smart home systems in our market still have some disadvantages,for example,too expansive,unstable etc.Therefore it is necessary to develop a smart home system which is satable and inexpensive.The smart home system in this paper is made up of four components:endpoints of smart home,Huawei IoT platform,server and smart phone client.The endpoints of smart home use STM32F103RCT6 as master control chip,BC95-B5 as communication module.STM32F103RCT6 has advantages like low price,powerful function,abundance of developing materials and so on.BC95-B5 is a kind of NB-IoT module.Because of using NB-IoT protocol,BC95-B5 has advantages like broad coverage over modules using other protocols,for example,ZigBee,WiFi and Bluetooth.These advantages ensure the reliability of connection.In this paper,the work on Huawei IoT platform is developing Profile files and encode-decode plugins.The Huawei IoT platform provides efficient device management and reliable protection mechanism for devices connected to it.The major function of server is to receive device state change notifications form Huawei IoT platform then notify clients and to receive commands from clients.The smart phone client is developed on Android operating system;the development environment is Android Studio.The major function of client is to display states of devices and control the devices.The smart home system can realize controlling devices from client the states fo de’vices can also be displayed on client in real time,devices can also execute appointed commands.The system has the advantages including stable connection,low price,good expansibility etc.,so it has vast potential for future development.
