With the development of smart grid,the variety and number of power communication services have increased,and sensor technology has been more widely applied to smart grid communication networks.Wireless sensor networks are flexible,easy to configure and construct,thus WSNs can be used to carry services such as grid data collection,load control,and power monitoring.Scales of WSNs continue to expand,causing problems such as rising network costs and degraded QoS of smart grid.In order to guarantee QoS of WSNs,this paper mainly solves two key problems:wireless sensor network planning and sensor network service scheduling.Aiming at architectural problems of WSNs,this paper proposes a QoS-based aggregation node planning method in WSNs.First,constraints of the number of aggregation nodes have been solved based on several QoS indicators.Then,with analyzing service transmission modes,a network mathematical model has been built.Its optimization objectives are construction costs and load balance,and its constraints are the number of aggregation nodes and hops.A tabu search algorithm is used to solve this model.Simulation experiments show that the proposed WSNs planning method can reduce network delay,improve network reliability,save construction cost,and ensure load balancing to a certain extent.As for smart grid,there are many types of services in a wireless sensor network,and their QoS requirements vary greatly.This paper proposes a delay-oriented service scheduling method in WSNs.First,according to the importance of sensors services and their delay requirements,a dynamic business priority model is established.Then,a cognitive wireless network service scheduling model is established,and a neural network-based service scheduling algorithm is designed to optimize data transmission delay.Simulation experiments show that this priority-based service scheduling method can optimize service delay,ensure fair access of link bandwidth,and improve network utilization.Two problems of smart grid wireless sensor networks have been researched:network planning and service scheduling.This research reduces construction cost of wireless sensor networks and ensures QoS of various services.It has certain significance for the development of smart gird communication networks.
