Research On Variable Landscape Space Design For Exhibition Park

The exhibition park is a new landscape space used for exhibition of communication activities,which is evolved from the exhibition garden landscape,with a certain kind of comprehensive and extensive in design content.The exhibition park had enriched the exhibition form of outdoor exhibitions.But,at the same time,there were some problems with the exhibition park,for example,most of the exhibition equipment were placed in the form of filling blanks,the flow of people was increased sharply after exhibition activities,singleness of function,and low of service value and so on.In this case,the way how to enhance the utilization of landscape space in the exhibition park,properly arranging the exhibition activities in the site of park,fully mobilizing the vitality of park landscape after exhibition had been a common problem for current exhibition parks in China.This article introduced the variable design theory of indoor exhibition space into the field of exhibition park,which expanded the research scope of variable design,alleviated the current existing problems,led the exhibition par to new orientation and direction before and after the exhibition.It is possible to change or adjust the landscape space according to unknown development needs,with the diversity in space,functions and forms,suiting variety needs from users.There were a lot of studies of variable design theory in the field of indoor exhibition and architectural space,but few in the field of outdoor exhibition park,till now a systematic design mode was still not formed.In the gap of outdoor exhibition design,the systematic research from the perspective of variable design would provide a kind of direction reference for the future development in the exhibition industry.Basis on the background,purpose and significance of research,the article sorted out the relevant theories to variable landscape space,and particularly discussed the source,features and advantages of the concept of variable landscape space design.Combined with the case analysis,the elements of variable landscape space were discussed specially from aspects like function of landscape facility,structure,color,location and unit space,and then two methodsfor design were summarized,they were entity change and virtual change.After that,the author used the abstract theory for the specific planning design of Ningbo Exhibition Park,making it practical and maneuverable.With such practice,the author combed the design thought again,so as to further explore this task and make the article better.Finally,the weakness of this research was analyzed and the prospects of this research was proposed.
