Research On Transitional Space Design In Exhibition Building

The Exhibition-building is a kind of important public-buildings, which is concentrative expressions of social economy, science and technology, arts and culture, and has important social value and significance.With the development of the age, the design concept of Exhibition-building has gradually changing from traditional functional concept which takes exhibition hall as the core space to the concept which takes visitors’experience and feeling as to manifest the thought of Humanism. It is also a particular space which results from the interaction of different architectural styles. Transitional-space is an important integral part of the exhibition of architectural space, within or without, which plays as transitional space in function, physiology and psychology. And by the comparison of different functions of transitional-space, to summarize the transitional-space’s construction function, and the different functions of different transitional-space. The essay finally expounds the transitional-space is a whole organic system, and analyzed characteristic of the spatial organization of the transitional-space.
