In March 2015,the Central Committee officially issued "Several Opinions on Further Deepening the Reform of the Electric Power System"(No.9 of the Central Committee).It clarified the general idea and basic principles of deepening the reform of the electric power system.According to the institutional framework of "managing the middle and opening up the two ends",it opened up the distribution and sale of electricity business to the social capital in an orderly manner,marking the opening up of the distribution and sale of electricity to the public capital.The new electricity reform is officially launched.With the gradual deepening of the power sales side reform and the introduction of supporting policies,the traditional business model of power grid enterprises will be broken,which opens up space for all social capital to enter the power market,leading to more fierce competition in the power distribution market.This paper takes M Province Placing Electricity Company(MPPEC)as the research object,analyzes the typical cases of domestic and foreign leading electric power enterprises in the process of market-oriented electricity sales from the aspects of marketing strategy and marketing strategy combination.The marketing strategy direction and key points of the marketing competition are further analyzed and defined in terms with the actual management and customer investigation of MPPEC.It takes positioning analysis of MPPEC by using SrTP theory,designs the products and service,prices,channels,integrated marketing communication and the strategy of market,forms the plan of implement for differentiated services at different stages,which supports the Company to define the main target of market and develop the target marketing service.The finding of this research will help MPPEC to find a foothold and expand marketing strategy in the competition of many power companies.It also provides some suggestions for other companies in formulating marketing strategies with the similarly industry in other provinces.
