With the continued development of urban industrialization,we are slowly moving into a post-industrial society,where labour-intensive industries and some capital-and technology-intensive heavy industries and processing industries are in decline,with a huge amount of industrial waste.In order to protect the valuable industrial heritage,discover and highlight the technical aesthetic features,optimize and beautify the environment,and inherit the polysemous connotation of industrial history and culture,the post-industrial landscape design came into being.In the late industrial society,the industrial waste land regeneration problem that has appeared in the urban space due to the decline of traditional industries or the relocation has been further highlighted.Post-industrial landscape design has become one of the important countermeasures for improving and optimizing the urban physical space environment and inheriting urban culture.Based on this social background,this thesis aims to find a feasible strategy for the transformation of paper mill in the development of huainan city,combining with its regional characteristics,history,culture and social economy.The whole is controlled by reforming the old building,and the landscape environment of the area is transformed by green and ecological transformation mode.Based on the design principle of carrying forward and inheriting the traditional culture,the feasibility of transforming the old factory area of Anhui paper mill into a cultural creative industrial park was demonstrated,and the design method was explored,and the concrete design plan was finally put forward.
