Rare and endangered plants,Endemic plants and Exotic plants are excellent germplasm resources and valuable materials for modern garden ornamental plant breeding. The resources of wild ornamental plants in China are extremely rich, but there is still a long way to go for development and utilization.Guangdong Wanlvhu National Wetland Park boasts excellent natural environment and is rich in wild ornamental resources. The author takes the Guangdong Wanlvhu National Wetland Park as a research area, carries out a systematic and comprehensive investigation and evaluation of its rare plant resources, and aims to provide scientific basis for the protection and utilization of these resources. The results of the study are as follows:(1)Through a comprehensive survey of rare and endemic plant resources in Guangdong Wanlvhu National Wetland Park,Wanlvhu National Wetland Park has a large number of rare and endemic plants,Exotic and endemic plants include 78 families,143 genera and 181 species. It accounted for 46.71%,29.61%,and 24.93% of the wild vascular plant families, genera, and species of Guangdong Wanlvhu National Wetland Park.Among them, there are 15 species of 14 genera in 10 families of ferns, and 2 species of 2 families of gymnosperm in 1 family,164 species of 167 genera and 67 families of angiosperms,(Including dicotyledon plants 60 families,118 genera,153 species,monocotyledons,7 families,9 genera and 11 species.)Rare and endangered plants have 14 families,16 genera,17 species, endemic plants,41 families,54 genera and 63 species,and56 species,106 families, and 132 species of exotic plants.(2)The dominant families which are more than 10 species are Euphorbiaceae(17species)and Moraceae(11 species),The dominant generas are Ilex(8 species)?Ficus(4 species)and Melastoma(4 species).(3)The ornamental value of rare and endemic plants in Guangdong WanlvhuNational Wetland Park was divided into five types, inclouding, ornamental ferns(15species),ornamental bamboo(2 species),ornamental vines(29 species),ornamental tree(78 species)and ornamental herbs(20 species).(4)The Rare and Endemic plants of the Wanlvhu National Wetland Park in Guangdong Province have 8 types of garden applications: street trees(33 species),Tingyin trees(9 species),single landscape trees(6 species),and vertical plant species(26 species),Planting shrubs(32 species),Ground cover plants(18 species),Flowerbed plant species(16species),Indoor ornamental plants(5 species).(5)In term of the geographical distribution types,of all the seed plants, tropical andsubtropical components are the main distribution emements of Wanlvhu National Wetland Park, and the temperate distribution is a second distribution emements of the total.Tropical and subtropical distribution is dominated by tropic tropic, with strong tropical properties and temperate properties also play an important role.(6)Using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),on the basis of learning from the predecessors, the ornamental value evaluation system of rare and unique plants in Guangdong Wanlvhu National Wetland Park was constructed from the ornamental value, biological characteristics and resource potential of wild plants. And sorted and quantified169 species of wild exotic plants were quantified for priority development comprehensive evaluation analysis. The development level of wild exotic and unique plants is divided into4 levels, among which are the top 10 in class I is Melastoma candidum,Rhaphiolepis indica,Rhododendron simsii,Liquidambar formosana,Adina pilulifera,Gardenia jasminoides,Sloanea sinensis,Rosa laevigata,Schefflera arboricola,Laurocerasus phaeosticta.
