Pumps are widely used in the national economy machinery,its role is to transport liquid or make liquid pressurization.However,for a single pump,the radial force at both ends of the motor shaft is unbalanced,which accelerates bearing wear and reduces pump life.The 3D model of the dual body pump is established by using Solidworks modeling software,and the fluid domain model is extracted.The fluid domain of the dual body pump is meshed with ICEM.Finally,the RNG k-? turbulence model and the Renault time-averaged equation are used in the FLUENT model,and the pressure field and velocity field of the internal flow of the composite pump and the dual body pump are obtained under different flow rates.And the performance advantages of the dual body pump relative to the single composite pump were determined.Under the guidance of the numerical simulation results,the prototype model of the.,dual body pump was designed.The solid model of the dual body pump was fabricated by 3D printing technology.The performance test bench of the dual body pump was set up and the performance test of the dual body pump was completed.Contrast analysis of numerical and experimental results.The numerical and experimental results show that compared with the single composite pump,the dual body pump in series increases thehead of the whole pump,and the flow rate is basically the same.The parallel flow increases obviously,while the suction and the lift are basically the same.The dual body pump also retains the characteristics of the high-absorption of the single composite pump.
