With the constant improvement of the level of transportation career development,traffic safety facilities are becoming more and more important,and the road lighting conditions on the environment and traffic safety plays an important role.In order to solve the safety problems caused by the power failure,and raise the safety level of driving in rural roads at night,in this paper,a kind of super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement materials with self-luminous property and surface self-cleaning performance has been made,which the long afterglow phosphor was added to cement-based cementitious materials and hydrophobic surface coating was used to treat the surface of cement matrix.A series of experiments have been carried out to study the mechanical properties,luminescent properties,self-cleaning performance and usability of the super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement materials.The main research results are summarizedas following:1)The strength and SEM experiment shows that the luminescent powder and reflective powder do not participate in the hydration reaction of cement.The flexural and compressive strength of cement-based cementitious materialshas improved after the mixed ofluminescent powder.The reflective powder has anegative effect on the strength of cement-based cementitious materials.2)Theluminescent property of super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement material has enhanced with the increasing of luminescent powderusage,while the afterglow performance has been stable under different usage.The initial brightness has not improved as the reflective powder increased,however,the duration of the afterglow could be extendedto a certain extent.The influence on the luminescent property is more obvious when the illumination time is less than 30min,whereas the length of light have no significant effect on the material after 30min.3)Under the spectral analysis,a wide range of light wavescould be absorbed by super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement material,thus the daily illumination conditions can meet the requirement of optical excitation.The peak wavelength of the emission spectrum of the material is 520 nm,with a green luminous color and a high degree of identification in low illumination environment.4)On the surface of luminescence cement-based cementitious materials,an excellent self-cleaning performance of the surface of the super-hydrophobic coating has been revealed,by which the pollutants are easily removed from the solid surface by water droplets,ensuring light out from luminescent material and providing a long-term support for the stability of the cement matrix luminescence performance.5)The super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement material displays a good water resistance performance.The super-hydrophobic surface coating could effectively reduce the infiltration of water and avoid the luminous powder in contact with water directly in cement matrix for a long time,which prevent the occurrence of hydrolysis reaction.6)The wear resistance test of cement concrete indicates the wear resistance of super-hydrophobic and luminescence cement pavement material could meet the specification requirements.Super-hydrophobic surface coating has no effect on wear resistance and the incorporation of luminescent powder can improve the wear resistance of the material.The addition of quartz polyurethane to the surface layer is an effective way to enhance the wear resistance of the pavement.
