Intelligent Traffic Governing System Based On Radar Detection And Auto-Tracking

The implementation of an intelligent traffic governing systems that operates automatically with no need for significant human interaction.It has greatly contributed to reduce the rate of high-speed accidents road in countries that have applied these systems,while our country(Yemen)is still the first of traffic accidents because we still depend on the old traditional system for monitoring the roads traffic.The statistics and studies indicate that over the past years Yemen was one of the most countries that registered the highest rate of highways accidents.Therefore,the percentage of those accidents were largely reduced in countries that applied technological systems to monitor roads traffic.Our research tried to solve this problem and mitigate the negative results as much as possible by designing a smart system that based on radar to controls the movement of traffic and edit the violations automatically.The task of radar to detect the speed of vehicles,if the speed of a particular vehicle exceeds the limited speed will send a command to the camera which is connected to the system to take a picture of that vehicle and the image processing system will identify and extract information such as(plate number,type of license plate)then send those extracted data to the traffic database that linked with our system to compare the extracted data to know the information about the vehicle owner such as(mobile number).Then the system sends a violation via SMS text message to the owner of the car relying on the mobile number contained in database.In this system,we also tried to find solutions that contribute to improve the management of the security services in the Republic of Yemen.we have designed software that simulate the tracking of the wanted people by creating database that contains an images for them and when any of them moves in front of the camera will be tracked and implement the face recognition feature.Then will send a report to the authority including his picture and the coordinates of the location of camera by MATLAB.
