The steel plate shear wall is used to resist the story shear force after the buckling of the steel plate,yielding along the direction of tension field to dissipate seismic energy.However,the out of plane deformation of the steel plate may be relatively large,even larger than the in-plane displacement.Perforated steel plate shear wall embeds regularly staggered hole in steel plate to weaken the effect of the tension field and to reduce the out of plane deformation caused by the buckling of the steel plate,It can improve the deformation capacity of steel plate,which is an improved form of steel plate shear wall,As a component to resist lateral force and energy dissipation is mainly in the earthquake,the plastic damage can occur before the main structure,through the plastic deformation to dissipate the seismic energy.The traditional steel plate shear wall structure with tension effect is very strong,in order to avoid the adverse effect of the steel plate tension field on column,the steel plate shear wall with embedded steel plate is not connected with the column.On the basis of the research on the perforated steel plate shear wall at home and abroad,a new perforated steel plate shear wall only connected with frame beams and stiffeners connected on two free sides was proposed on the basis of steel plate shear wall with perforation.The initial elastic stiffness and ultimate bearing capacity of new type perforated steel plate shear wall are analyzed,ABAQUS finite element analysis software is used to simulate.Based on the study of the bearing capacity and energy dissipation performance of steel plate shear wall after opening the circular hole,and change the height ratio of the steel plate,the opening rate,the thickness of the stiffener,the number of holes,the number of rows and the layout,study on the performance of steel plate shear wall,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Mechanical behavior of perforated steel plate shear walls was discussed,plastic hinge area of steel plate was assumed and the initial elastic stiffness and ultimate bearing capacity theory formula of new perforated steel plate shear wall was proposed.Compared with the finite element numerical simulation,it is found that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the finite element results.(2)The Ultimate bearing capacity and initial elastic stiffness of steel plate shear wall is decreased slightly after the opening,but did significantly improve the bearing capacity of steel plate shear wall without opening degradation phenomenon.And the distribution of the yield stress of perforated steel plate shear wall is more extensive than that of steel plate shear wall without opening.(3)The greater the thickness of steel plate,the smaller the ratio of height to thickness,the ultimate bearing capacity and initial elastic stiffness of steel plate are larger,but its energy consumption is reduced,taking into account the thickness of 6~8mm,the corresponding ratio of height to thickness is 300~500.The higher the opening rate of steel plate,the lower the ultimate bearing capacity of steel plate,the energy dissipation capacity is smaller,the opening rate should be 10%~20%.The layout of the round hole will affect the distribution of the yield stress and the deformation of the steel plate,and the steel plate should be open round hole in the diagonal direction.The higher the ratio of span to height,the the ultimate bearing capacity and initial elastic stiffness are larger,However,the energy dissipation capacity is constant,and the energy consumption efficiency will be reduced.Considering the 0.75~1.25.
