| The fault location for transmission lines could be helpful for rapidly and accurately searching for the fault point,be convenient for field patrol work.It could reduce the time of the breakdown maintenance,restore power supply as soon as possible and reduce economic loss caused by the fault.It could also find the weak link and potential danger,and finally improve the circuit reliability.Rapid and accurate determination of fault location is of great significance.Fault location algorithm is combined with fault type,fault location,fault resistance and many other factors.It needs a lot of complicated work when operate the simulation experiment manually.It is necessary to research a platform which can simulate multiple parameters and efficient data processing.Therefore,according to the function requirement of the platform,the research in this paper is shown as below:(1)The emergent of fault traveling wave in the transmission,spread of traveling wave signal and basic principle of traveling wave location were researched.(2)Function requirements were analyzed,and then total frame work of the platform was designed.The platform was generally composed of Grid Module and Location Module.Grid Module was in annular electric supply mode with three power source,aiming at simulating different transmission fault.Location Module included a signal extraction module,filter module,data analysis module and other function modules.(3)Made detailed design for every function modules,built them with the abundant element provided by PSCAD/Master,display the signal processing effects of each module,and finally a complete platform was composed.(4)Set fault point randomly and did several fault simulation in the simulation platform.Combined with the existing single-ended and double-ended traveling wave,the function of simulation analysis platform was verified.Simulation analyses show that this platform can simulate workflow of traveling wave fault location commendably and locate the fault accurately. |
