Research On The Demarcation Of The Urban Growth Boundaries Of Mountainous City Based On Complex Adaptive System

Stepped into the stage of transformation of the urban space growth in China,the goal of urban planning has transferred from meeting the demand of social and economic development to coordinating the development among society,economy and environment.In order to erase the problem of the city sprawl,changing the way of development has become one of the hot issues.As one of the space growth management tools,the urban growth boundary has played an important role between protection and development.Due to the demarcation of UGB is not mature,the role of UGB still stay on the theory.Mountainous city is an important part of urban system in our country.Its main problem during the urban spatial expansion is the balance between the protection and development.Therefore,the demarcation of UGB is particularly important to the development of mountainous cities.The urban land system is a complex adaptive system.This paper tried to analysis both the relationships between the adaptive and the environment and the relationships among the adaptive,in order to resolve the dynamic mechanism of urban growth.Based on the mechanism of urban growth,this paper tried to build the UGB defined model by combining with the characteristics of mountainous city.In case of Changting,a typical mountainous city,this paper tried to clear the city space growth model and select the appropriate method to demarcate the UGB.Changting will develop through the increment-led expansion in the future.So we can designate the limited boundary by analyzing the ecological sensitivity and designate the leading boundary by analyzing the suitability of all kinds of the functional space.Studies suggest that the interaction between adaptive and environment is the main motivation of urban increment-led expansion,and the adaptive behavior among the adaptive is the main power of revitalization-oriented optimization.urban stock optimizing urban land form and spatial structure is the result of the urban growth.It cannot control the city sprawl effectively just by designating the boundary of the urban construction land without the combination with the functional structure.The whole thesis contains about 48 000 words,41 pictures and charts.
