The temperature characteristic of the compressor protector is extremely important parameter.The parameters include action temperature,recovery temperature and minimum action current.Today,the technology of thermal protector testing has been very common,but the physical design and optimization on the thermostat is rarely currently appear.Because during the test,the inside temperature uniformity is very important for the test results.So the focus of this paper is to study the organization of the thermostat and the problems of temperature uniformity.There are five aspects in this research: First,through the analyzing of thermostat's structure and size,the paper use commercial CFD software FLUENT to set up its 3D simulation of internal flow field;secondly,the simulation results are compared with the experimental structure validation;then the paper analyze the simulation model as the basis for continuous improvement and adjustment,solving the temperature uniformity for better solution;finally the paper apply the application to practical program and propose methods to solve problems.Details are as follows:1.The paper establish a 3D model of the thermostat,mesh a reasonable calculation of the area,deal with the boundary condition of the model.Then after experimental comparison,verify the accuracy of the simulation results.Finally,the calculation results were analyzed in depth.2.Use Delphi as a software development platform,using object-oriented technology and UML to complete the test software design.Use Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database to store the experimental data.3.As the thermostat model has been studied and improved,a lot of simulation experiments is made to improve the distribution of temperature.Then according to the method of simulation,debug different parameters to determine the feasibility of improvements.
