Under the background of economic globalization and the further development of China's reform and opening up,China's enterprises are inevitably to step out of the country's border and find their positions in the international market competition.How to improve the competitiveness and develop under the pressure of world economic competition is an urgent issue to be solved to the China's enterprises,especially the China's small and medium-sized private enterprises.As an integrated company which is professional in manufacture and export trade,GJ Company is facing the conflict between the external competition pressures and the company's low management level.The company's performance management cannot meet the need of the company's normal development.It is urgent to innovate in the performance management system in order to change the predicament faced by the company.The BSC is a feasible scheme for the GJ Company in the innovation in performance management for it can transform the strategic goals into quantitative indicators of performance management.This thesis applies the theory of the BSC to analyze the present situation and the problems of GJ Company,according to the research of the BSC by the experts and scholars at home and abroad,and refer to the successful case of the application of the BSC in domestic private enterprises.By means of questionnaire survey,interview and other methods,and point out the problem of GJ Company that the performance management did not rise to the level of strategic management and the company's overall performance satisfaction was low.It has solved the problem of performance management of GJ Company,through the analysis of the strategic objectives of the GJ Company,and then building strategic maps,analyzing the strategic maps,building a BSC indicator system,formulating the strategic action plans,and established the Balanced Scorecard performance management system of GJ Company finally.The Balanced Scorecard indicator system of GJ Company that was designed in this thesis will be also useful to other small and medium-sized private enterprise application.
