| Shower room originated from Europe,and be fashionable in Europe andAmerica.Domestic shower room started from the early of 1990 s.Along with China’s accession to the WTO in 2001,shower room enterprises of “Made in China”expanded rapidly and a large number of products exported to market of Europe and America.As a result,China becomes the world’s largest manufacturing country and exported country of shower room.But the well-known top brands of foreign shower room occupied the world’s high-end market for long time.Shower room enterprises have experienced many crisis and shuttle during that time,China displays new differentiation pattern “three mountains one lake”(Foshan,hongshan,Xiaoshan and Pinghu).In the face of the great changes in the current world,uncertainty and unpredictable risk significantly increased,the business in future is full of challenges.Domestic shower room enterprises to survive and develop,is bound to do a systematic and comprehensive understanding and research for the external environment and industry situation,and build the overall development ideas,strategic design and transformation and upgrade.Therefore,it is very important to study the competitive strategy ofKcompany.In this thesis,the case study on competitive strategy of K companyis carried out.Follow-up the steps“Main body of case study-Analysis of case study-Enlightenment of case study”.Commence from the following three points:First of all,the basic situation and development background is introduced,thenfor company sale situation,finally present the current competitive strategy encountered in the stage.This part let ushave comprehensive understanding of K company,also a good foreshadowing for next part of analysis.Secondly,in the part of case analysis,using the environment analysis method to analyze K company’s external and internal environment and conditions;Use SWOT to analyze facing opportunities and external threats,internal strengths and weaknesses.Then through the Potter three general strategy to analyzethe competitive strategy of K company.Combination of theory and practice of K company,we draw a conclusion of competitive strategy for K company: focus strategy at a low cost.Finally,this case study adopts themethods of theoretical analysis,document analysis and case analysis.Environment analysis,five forces model,SWOT model,and three general strategiesapply toK company competitive strategy analysis.Then conclude the enlightenment of case study: the importance of competitive strategy theory;the dynamic diversification of competitive strategy;The theory of competitive strategy must be combined with practice.Meanwhile in order to exploit the low cost advantage of K company competitive strategy,this thesis propose improvement advices from three weak points of K company,that is,operation management,supply chain optimization,marketing tactics.Hope this case study can provide a reference for K company’s competitive strategy decision,and can play a consult role in the competition strategy of other companies in the same industry. |
