From the beginning of the industrial revolution,the replacement of technology and the change of industrial structure have been promoting the development of social economy.As the social and economic development enters into the knowledge-based economy era from the industrial economy era,the influence of resource elements including intangible assets on the value of enterprise development becomes more prominent,which has become an important part of its competitive strategy.DAVCO CHINA,an Australian enterprise in China,has experienced a rapid development in Chinese market since 1990 s.Now this company is facing a complex and diverse environment.For one thing,the product of technical mortar is facing to a good chance of rapid development.For another,the external environment has higher requirements for the quality development of enterprises and products,and the internal industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce.This case is mainly based on the case of DAVCO China,to study how the ready-mixed mortar companies in the traditional manufacturing industry use intangible assets to enhance their competitive advantages in the market competition.Firstly,studied the demand and competitive research on the technical mortar manufacturing industry environment,and then therelationship among the resources including intangible assets,the core competitiveness and competitive advantage of the enterprise.DAVCO CHINA needs to re-positioning based on new situation.In this case study,DAVCO CHINA should choose the strategy of differentiation in the competition.Finally,this article creatively proposes how to obtain competitive advantage and realize the "P-C-M-IR-C strategic execution system" of DAVCO China's competitive strategy.The successful cases of DAVCO CHINA proved that the company can form its unique core competitiveness through the use of intangible assets in the process of implementing the strategy,and enhance the competitive advantage continuously.It is expected that this case can provide useful inspiration for the relevant enterprises to implement successful competitive strategies.
