In today's society, people's lives are closely linked with the vehicle and the network.VANET(Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network)has also become a research hotspot, and the integration of car networking technology to improve driving safety is also receiving more and more attention.VANET can realize intelligent traffic management, provide intelligent dynamic information services and intelligent vehicle control, etc. At present, the vehicle's active safety system is based on a reactive mechanism and relies on the real-time feedback of its own sensors(radar, camera, etc.)at a given time.Vehicle's own sensors have limited coverage, lack of synergy, and there is a problem of blind areas and limited adaptability.VANET can solve the problem of data sharing between vehicles and expand the scope of vehicle access to information. There are two general types of image transmission in VANET: general images with relatively low security, and road images with relatively high safety.Ordinary entertainment image transmission requires low real-time performance, and safety-related image transmission requires high real-time image transmission. This article takes the VANET as the background, first introduces the related use and development of the VANET,and then introduces the related technology IEEE 802.11 p of the VANET.IEEE802.11 p can handle the data transmission of the VANET,but when transmitting security-related images,it is only transmitted on a single channel, and the efficiency is low,and performance problems are not considered. Therefore, the algorithm of this paper mainly studies the transmission efficiency of security-related images in the Internet of Vehicles. In the image transmission, the image is layered and encoded, and combined with the channel scheduling mode of IEEE 802.11 p,the method of concurrent transmission through multiple channels. Then,at the receiving end,the transmission image is combined according to a certain rule to complete the transmission. The algorithm can make full use of channel resources and improve the real-time performance of image transmission. The algorithm in this paper also takes into account the reliability of the transmission. In the case of data loss, the overall content of the image can still be maintained, which is convenient for personnel to read. This paper also analyzes the efficiency of the algorithm and compares the current common transmission method with the algorithm.Combined with the actual in-vehicle system and image acquisition equipment, the example program of the algorithm is completed.Theexample program introduces the implementation and usage scenarios of the algorithm.Through theoretical and practical results analysis, the algorithm is more efficient in security-related image transmission. It has certain practical significance for improving traffic safety and assisting traffic management departments to quickly obtain information and traffic management, and has certain reference value for solving the problem of high-speed transmission of images in VANET.
