With the development of military shelter technology and the need of modern war,the electromagnetic compatibility design and thermal design of military shelter are more and more important, which makes the conflict between electromagnetic compatibility and thermal design becoming more and more serious. In order to ensure the normal operation of the military shelter, the problem of the coordination design between electromagnetic compatibility design and thermal design must be solved. This paper mainly studies the design of electromagnetic compatibility design and thermal design of military shelter.Three kinds of cabin structures are proposed, which are forced air cooled cabin, natural cooling cabin and air conditioning cooling cabin. The structure design of the forced air-cooled cabin is firstly analyzed for the heat consumption of the cabin, and then the form and duct of the ventilation hole are designed, and the perforated plate and the waveguide window are compared. In the natural cooling mode, the design scheme of ribbed wall structure was proposed, and the fins were optimized from the heat dissipation, the electromagnetic coupling characteristics of the fins are also analyzed. The cooling and heating load of the cabin is theoretically calculated, and the selection of the fan and the design of the air duct are completed. The design scheme was verified by simulation and actual experiment. The simulation software CST and FloTHERM were used to simulate the electromagnetic compatibility simulation and thermal design simulation. For the forced air cooling, the size of the vents, the size structure of the waveguide window and the fan model can meet the design requirements. For the natural cooling, the simulation results of heat dissipation are also consistent with the theoretical design, which proves that the ribbed wall structure and the optimization design scheme of the ribs meet the design requirements. In order to test the design scheme, the theory of shrinkage ratio model is proposed.By means of the contraction ratio model theory, the forced air cooling and natural cooling design scheme is verified by the experimental method.
