Film cameras are traditional recording tools for digital cameras that use electronic sensors to convert optical images into electronic data.In the nearly two hundred years of development,the creativity and imagination of many scientists and artists have been brought together.With the development of digital technology,it has brought more portable and controllable photography tools.The mobile phone with the function of photography and sharing can meet the needs of the public to share instantly in the new media era,and has become the first choice for mass photography tools.In the wave of national photography that has emerged in recent years,film cameras have delivered the popular scepter,but they have not completely faded out of the public's vision.In recent years,various well-received mobile photography applications have seen the emergence of App that emulates the characteristics of film cameras.The App's presentation of film cameras not only stays in the delicate and layered imaging of the replica,but also includes the appearance of the film camera and the features that the photo cannot be viewed.At the same time,the addition of traditional film camera users and small darkrooms that provide flushing services to the general public,especially when film is a popular element of fast fashion brands,seems to herald the emergence of symbolic content for film cameras in the new media era.Changed.This paper analyzes the comparison of film cameras and analog film camera apps to illustrate the changes in the symbolic value of film cameras in the new media era,and how these values are manifested in the context of popular culture.
