Floating ring bearing is a kind of sliding bearing,which add a floating ring between the journal and bearing,Lubrication oil film of sliding bearing is devided into double layer oil film by floating ring which can be named inner and outer film,This struction makes the floating ring bearing have the advantages of good stability,low friction power consumption and low wear,etc.However,the oil film temperature rise and the floating ring elastic deformation are inevitable when the journal rotates at a high speed,and the inner oil film is often under starved lubrication.The oil film temperature,floating ring elastic deformation and starved lubrication will affact on the lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influences of oil film temperature rise,floating ring elastic deformation and starved lubrication on the lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearings.In this paper,firstly,the numerical difference method was used to solve the Reynolds equation.The lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearings under ideal working conditions were studied.The influence of eccentricity on the inner and outer oil film dimensionless pressure distribution was obtained,and the influence of journal rotation speed and eccentricity on the oil film lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing which include the bearing capacity,the side leakage flow and the friction power of the inner and outer oil film were studied.Secondly,in order to explore the influence of thermal effects,the variation of the inner and outer oil film temperature rise of floating ring bearing with the speed of the journal and eccentricity was obtained by solving the Reynolds equation,energy equation and Rolelands viscosity temperature equation,and the influences of the oil film temperature rise on the oil film lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing was studied.Thirdly,In order to explore the influence of elastic deformation of floating ring,the variation of the floating ring elastic deformation with the speed of the journal and eccentricity was obtained through solving the Reynolds equation,the floating ring elastic deformation equation and the film thickness equation of the inner and outer oil film,and the influences of floating ring elastic deformation on the oil film lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing was studied.Then,the Reynolds equation,energy equation,Rolelands viscosity temperature equation,the floating ring elastic deformation equation and the film thickness equation of the inner and outer oil film were solved simultaneously,and the variation of the temperature rise of oil film and elastic deformation of floating ring with the speed of the journal and eccentricity were obtained under the coupling effect of thermal and elastic deformation of the floating ring.The effect of the temperature rise of oil film and elastic deformation of floating ring on the oil film lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing was studied under the coupling conditions.Finally,the inner oil film starved lubrication model was established under the influence of coupling effect of thermal and elastic deformation.The effects of the feeding flow rate and load on the inner oil film pressure distribution,the static balance position of the journal and the friction power of the inner oil film was studied under the starved lubrication.In this paper,based on the analysis of the thermal effect and floating ring elastic deformation coupling,the lubrication static characteristics of floating ring bearing was obtained under the coupling condition,which is more accord with practical condition.Through analysing the inner oil film starved lubrication static characteristics of the floating ring bearing under the coupling effect of thermal and elastic deformation.The effects of different parameters on the characteristics of the floating ring bearing is obtained,which is further enriched the lubrication theory of floating ring bearing,And provide the theoretical basis for the improvement of floating ring bearing under starved lubrication.
