Study On The Development Strategy Of Caofeidian Port Under The Background Of Integrated Development Of Beijing,Tianjin Municipalities And Hebei Province

With the rapid development of economic society and the further strengthening of the trend of globalization,trade between regions is becoming more and more frequent.As an important transportation node,the port plays a more and more important role.If the port wants to develop,it must choose the right port strategy,for the port's strategy directly affects the rise and fall of the it.In the past ten years,Caofeidian port through large-scale investment and construction has achieved leapfrog development.But at the same time the throughput of the port has soared,problem such as vicious competition,low utilization rate of port and environmental damage of port area appear,what has hinder the future development of the port.In the year of 2014,chairman Xi Jinping issued an important indication,that is the Integrated development of Beijing,Tianjin municipalities and Hebei Province,which is made it to the level of national strategy.An important measure of the Integrated development of Beijing,Tianjin municipalities and Hebei Province is to transfer some of the industries in Beijing and Hebei to Tianjin Province,that is order to achieve the purpose of regional advantages and industrial layout optimization.Undertaking industrial transfer will lead to the growth of logistics demand.Caofeidian will ushered in a new development opportunity,for it will as a platform to undertake industrial transfer of Beijing and Tianjin important.At the same time,In the document of " Tianjin Hebei Province,Beijing Province,collaborative development planning framework",mentioned in the area of "five ports",which is collaborative development of Tianjin port,Caofeidian port,Jingtang Port,Qinhuangdao port and Huanghua port.The collaborative development of five ports has provide a good opportunity for Caofeidian port with inner Bohai other port cooperationOn the basis of summarizing the previous studies,I will use the method of strategic to analysis the problem.First I will analysis on the development environment of Caofeidian,which include advantages and disadvantages of macro environment,industry environment and Interior environment.The second,I will use SWOT analysis method to analysis the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges in the context of collaborative development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.The third,I will discuss the development of port strategy based on the analysis of the above environment.Then I will determine the overall strategy,business strategy and functional strategy,and the choice and goal of each level strategy.Last,,In order to ensure the effective implementation and control of the overall strategy,I will put forward the corresponding measures and Countermeasures.
