The method of computer aided design of ship in existence needs building 3D model(CAD model and FEM model)respectively,such as performance checking,strength calculation,technological design and so on,that leads to inefficient heavy workload and a lot of repeated work,which more and more can't meet the ship industry requirements of digital development.In order to improve the situation,this thesis put forward to the design scheme of CAD/CAE integration system.Combined with the professional knowledge of ship design,the key point of this thesis is the CAE preprocessing in the CAD/CAE integration system.Because Siemens NX has the superiority of CAD/CAE integration system,powerful geometry features on the basis of Parasolid,flexible ways of development and the stability of the system function,finally it is selected as the integrated system platform.In order to ensure the smooth development of progress,the overall process of pretreatment system is put forward and the system framework is formed,on the basis of understanding the features of NX data,using NX modeling process.The ship pretreatment is divided into "CAD preprocessing" and "CAE modeling" which is implemented in CAD and CAE environment respectively.For the detailed design,we widely collected data and the user requirements.Finally we organized the difference of the model before and after the pretreatment,with the help of learning knowledge,according to the shipping component "board,aggregate and hole".It means the function design is preliminary completed.The main content of CAD preprocessing has “set up analysis model”,“CAD model preprocessing” and “cutting plate”.The main content of CAE modeling is “CAE geometric editor”,“meshing” and “attribute definitions”.This thesis is only for the function of the CAD/CAE integration,other common functions are no longer here.On the basis of what is said above,further research of key problems are discussed,such as "plate cutting","attribute inheritance" and other key technical difficulties.Expound the advantages and disadvantages of different schemes,and the reason of scheme which is not selected.Summary the background of each functionsthe key problems and implementation approach,which provides the basis for function development and coding.And from the view of data flow,summed up the relationship with NX,CAD system and CAE system,sorting out the attribute data,understanding the thought and process of the CAE preprocessing integration system from the perspective of macro.Summary the information referred,the knowledge learned,the results and the feedback of test,finally the effective CAE preprocessing integration system implementation scheme is formed.And part of the function has been achieved,which has made gratifying achievements.According to the research of this thesis may safely draw the conclusion,that the platform development CAD/CAE integration system of the ship based on Siemens NX is feasible.And due to the advantages of NX itself,this integration system has considerable practicability.
