At present, the domestic ship repair and shipbuilding industry is developing rapidly, ship rust removal is an important part of ship repair and shipbuilding industry.With the development of ship rust removal technology, the ultrahigh pressure water jet technology becomes more extensive. The vehicle-mounted ultrahigh pressure water jet ship rust removal system uses a container carrier as mobile carrier and pure water as medium, relies on ultrahigh pressure water jet technology, and gets the rust removal energy through the ultrahigh pressure pump. The system uses the high pressure water jet to destruct the adhesive force between corrosion and ship wall, and it is combined with the frequency control technology and PLC control system to achieve the ship wall rust removal job in the shipyard site.In this thesis, through the study of the principle of ultrahigh pressure water jet rust removal, the schematic diagram of system was designed. According to study the composition and structure of the rust removal system and analyse the rust removal process of the work, the site control requirements were made. According to the process flow, the ultrahigh pressure pump system and the vacuum recovery system were designed, and the composition and energy loss of the pump system were analysed. According to the requirement of the rust removal pressure can be variable on the job site, a frequency changer is used to control the ultra-high pressure pump was proposed, and the principle of VVVF of the asynchronous motor was analysed. According to the requirement and target of the system integration, using 3D mechanical drawing software to establish the three-dimensional model of the system, and proposing an integration program of the vehicle-mounted ultrahigh pressure water jet ship rust removal system.The core of the control system is PLC. The hardware design and software design of the control system were completed, and the flow chart and PLC control program of the control system were designed. The control system was combined with man-machine interface technology to achieve the function of normal operation, automatic fault diagnosis and alarm processing. The control system launch platform was designed and processed, and the system commissioning experiment was completed. The experimental results show that the system has reliable, easy to operate and friendly human-computer interaction characteristics and so on.
