With the social and economic growth and the rapid development of the city,the urban traffic network is constantly improving,the number of urban underpass is increasing,which greatly improves the urban traffic situation and provides good basic conditions for urban development.However,the problem of water accumulation in underpass is becoming more and more prominent.In recent years,it has been reported that the water depth of some downward passages is 1-2 meters due to rainfall,especially heavy rain.Vehicles are out of service,traffic jams are serious and even threaten the safety of people.Therefore,it is necessary to design roadbed with high durability,stability and strength to ensure reasonable cost,convenient maintenance and perfect function of drainage facilities,so as to solve the problems in drainage structure.Based on this,the design method and criteria of Underpass roads are formulated,which can provide technical guidance and theoretical basis for construction units to avoid road damage and groundwater damage when constructing underpass roads,thus alleviating traffic problems and prolonging the service life of roads.This research is devoted to the design of drainage facilities with high durability,stability and strength,reasonable cost,convenient maintenance and full function.From the perspective of drainage system design of Underpass roads(passages),combined with domestic and foreign experience in drainage design of highway and urban road construction,the design theory,method and parameters of drainage system of highway and urban roads in the current "Code for Highway Drainage Design" and "Code for Urban Road Design" are considered as a comprehensive and systematic system.In this way,we can supplement and improve the omissions and deficiencies in the norms,and refine and clarify some of the rougher principles in the norms.Subgrade drainage system includes drainage structures and facilities related to intercepting,discharging,conveying,storing and collecting groundwater and surface water.Based on suitable drainage system,groundwater and surface water which may endanger the stability of subgrade will be discharged out of the scope of subgrade,and then the moisture content of subgrade soil will be reduced.This value is in a controllable range,which can ensure the safety of driving,the stability of slope and the strength of roadbed.On the other hand,through summarizing the current research status of the theory and methods related to the drainage system of Underpass roads in Guangdong area,based on this result,the factors influencing the drainage design scheme of Underpass roads are analyzed,and the measures to solve the drainage design problems are studied.Finally,the corresponding underpass roads are put forward.Design method of road drainage system.To fill in the gaps in the domestic design codes for such projects,and to make the design of similar projects in Dongguan more economical and reasonable.Therefore,the project has significant practical and theoretical significance in social benefits and economic benefits,and the waterproof and drainage technology scheme of Underpass road(passage)proposed in this study also has obvious application prospects.
