Cost-benefit Analysis Of Several Slope Ecological Protection Methods

With the rapid development of economic construction,Chinese investment in infrastructure construction is also increasing.In the process,the construction of roads,railways,opencast mines and so on will have an impact on the surface morphology,forming a large number of exposed slopes.Because the plants used in ecological slope protection have ecological effect and landscape effect,they can not only play the role as soil reinforcement and slope protection,but also effectively overcome the shortcomings of engineering slope protection for ecological protection,and play a positive role in the restoration,protection and beautification of the local ecological environment.The application of slope ecological protection technology is becoming more and more widespread,and the domestic study on slope protection technology is becoming more mature.However,the cost-benefit study on ecological slope protection,especially the study on ecological benefits,is still in its infancy.Because of the different evaluation angles of researchers,the evaluation methods and evaluation indexes are not consistent.It can only be analyzed and evaluated on the basis of a certain example,which lack a unified and reasonable evaluation criteria,so it is difficult to be applied directly to the evaluation of all slope ecological protection methods.On the basis of the existing research at home and abroad,and combined with the ecological slope protection technology of Shenyi Highway,this paper carries out the related exploration and research from the following three aspects.Firstly,the existing slope engineering protection and ecological slope protection construction technology at home and abroad are deeply analyzed.On the basis of mastering the applicable conditions and construction essentials of the construction technology,the shortcomings of slope engineering protection are further pointed out.That is,it is easy to cause soil erosion,poor ecological landscape effect,easy failure of slope engineering protection methods and high cost of slope engineering measures.The function of ecological engineering protection is further analyzed,and the conclusion is drawn that ecological engineering protection has the functions of slope protection,ecological environmental protection and landscape protection.Secondly,taking the ecological slope protection construction of Shenyi Highway in Hubei Province as an example,this paper analyzes the natural landscape resources,regional humanistic and historical connotation,biota and geological characteristics along the line of the project.The ecological retaining wall used in this project,such as road shoulder planting,step type,wooden pile and fence type and hollow brick greening,are studied in this paper.The ecological benefits of several ecological slope protection methods are analyzed by means of alternative engineering method,opportunity cost method,shadow price method and afforestation cost method.By means of recovery cost method,protection cost method and market value method,the ecological cost of several ecological slope protection methods is calculated monetically.The results show that the ecological cost can not be ignored in the economic evaluation.Finally,taking the ecological slope protection construction of Shenyi highway in Hubei province as an example,based on the relevant theory of ecological economics,and combined with the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,the functional benefits,ecological benefit and landscape benefit of several ecological slope protection methods are comprehensively evaluated.It is concluded that the ecological protection effect of Shenyi highway slope is good.
