Design Research Of Self-Care Aids For Patients With Parkinson's Disease In Universal Design

From the perspective of equality,humanity concern,the Universal Design is the product of the development of Barrier-free Design,representing the real voice of the barrier culture.Due to the chronic and unable to cure characteristics of Parkinson's Disease,patients and their family members have to suffering from illness in daily life.Currently on the market,the assistive devices for the patients with Parkinson's disease has a small variety of types and a single form,the old style,even mostly products imported from foreign countries,the domestic market without innovation.Therefore,try to combine the patients of Parkinson's disease with the Universal Design Concept which make assistive devices do not give users a psychological burden by the specific shape,functional limitations,the system falling behind,and then provide a better use experience for patients.With the gradual improvement of people's self-consciousness,the improvement of self-demand and self-esteem of the patients makes them pay more attention to their own personal problems.This paper is based on the design of self-care aids in order to encourage people of Parkinson's disease to actively participate in daily life,exercise their physical function,having a optimistic,upward and healthy attitude to face the disease.At the same time,the self-care aids for patients can also provide a more relaxed and comfortable private space for their family members.This paper is divided into five parts: Chapter 1 and 2 are the first part,mainly including the background information and the theory of related concepts.Chapter 3 is the second part which introduces the design object of this research,and explains the physiological and psychological characteristics of patients with Parkinson 's disease.It aims to have a comprehensive understanding of the user.Chapter 4 and 5 are the third part.It is the key part of the paper in theoretical research.Studying and analyzing the development trend of Parkinson's self-care aids by collect the existing.Furthermore,arrive at the feasibility and necessity analysis for the combination.Including the application principles and elements.Chapter 6 is the fourth part.It is the key part of the paper in design practice.For the generally freezing of gait performance for patient with Parkinson's disease by the visit way to conduct in-depth understanding The way of research and uses the design method of "People value canvas" and "morphological box" to guide the final design practice..The final part is conclusion of the paper,including conclusion,limitation and prospects.
