| The light wood-concrete hybrid structure is a new type of structure that is suitable for the environmental protection and sustainable development strategy of China.Due to the mutation of stiffness from timber to concrete,the seismic response of the upper wood structure is obviously amplified.In order to improve the seismic performance of the hybrid structure and mitigate the earthquake damage to the upper wood structure,a new type of wood seismic isolation device is proposed as an interlayer seismically isolated layer for the hybrid structure.The non-linearity of the material and the friction function as an interlayer isolation device which dissipates seismic energy.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Refering to the special design conventions of ancient wood structures,a new Tou-Kong-like wood isolation device was designed innovatively.Without any metal component,the device made of log or engineering wood fulfilled seismic isolation requirement and dissipates energy by friction.(2)The finite element model was established for the isolation device,and the mechanism,deformation process and hysteresis characteristics of the isolation device under the vertical load and the low level repeating load were analyzed.(3)The test model of the wooden isolation device was made.And the vertical monotonous loading test was carried out to analyze and discuss the experimental phenomena and mechanical property.The experimental model was subjected to the low level repeated loading test to study the experimental phenomena,Slip performance and,hysteretic behavior and energy dissipation capacity in the horizontal loading process of the isolation device,the skeleton curve and Restoring force model was established.The effects of different parameters(such as vertical load and loading direction)on the energy dissipation performance of the isolation device were analyzed.(4)The comparison of the experimental results and the finite element analysis results showed that the numerical simulation was feasible to study the seismic performance of the isolation device.In summary:When designed properly,the new wooden isolation device has good mechanical properties and energy dissipation,isolation performance.When placed in the wood-concrete hybrid structure as a conversion layer that absorbs vibration,the device has a strong applicability and promotion value. |
