With the further advancement of the "Belt and Road" international cooperation and the increasingly close cross-cultural communication trend,the overseas promotion of Chinese culture has become more and more urgent.The Confucius Institute is an important platform for the dissemination of China's foreign culture.The shaping of the cultural space of Chinese culture in its teaching space can achieve the transfer of space to specific cultures.Architectural phenomenology mainly discusses the symbiosis between man,architecture and nature.The core of the concept of space under its theory is divided into two aspects: place spirit and perceptual experience.It is used to explain the connection between spatial shaping and perception.Therefore,this subject takes the Confucius Institute and Chinese culture as the research object,and from the perspective of environmental design,it studies the atmosphere construction and cultural dissemination of the teaching space,and relies on the theory of architectural phenomenology to analyze the significance of the place and the way to shape the space atmosphere.Explore how teaching space creates a sense of place and the transmission of Chinese culture.Firstly,through the literature research and interdisciplinary research methods,this article combs the relevance of schema language,perception experience and spatial atmosphere construction in the theory of architectural phenomenology,and combines the theory of communication and environmental behavior psychology to infer the cultural communication,audience,and place atmosphere.The intrinsic link between the spatial experience and the audience's influence on the established environment creates the necessity for visual,spatial and emotional elements to create a spatial atmosphere.Secondly,the investigation method and case study method are used to analyze the status quo of the teaching space of Confucius Institutes in depth,and the teaching space is divided into language teaching space,cultural experience space,cultural display space and public activity space according to society,audience influence factors and spatial characteristics.At the same time,study the characteristics and content of Chinese culture,and discuss the application of Chinese cultural elements in terms of color,patterns,and shapes.Finally,this paper proposes a design pattern for the creation of the atmosphere of the Chinese cultural venue in the teaching space of the Confucius Institute.This model establishes the “schema” and “image,” “center” and “path” design methods from the spirit of place and perception,and combines the dissemination and audience to establish the schema symbol system of Chinese cultural design elements.The common characteristics,around the display and experience of the two major design modules forming the atmosphere of the site-the theme design of the Chinese cultural elements theme design and teaching content elements,the implementation of the design and application of cultural elements,to verify the feasibility of shaping the Chinese culture atmosphere in the teaching space,to achieve The purpose of spreading Chinese culture through environmental space.
