With the development of society and advancement of technology,people are paying closer attention to energy conservation,emission reduction and environmental protection.Construction industry being the one with huge carbon emissions and resource consumption,its improvement effect has been relatively slow,arising great attention from the government.From the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” to the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”,the state has put forward specific proposals for the construction industry.Reforms are imperative.As a new technology,BIM provides the best entry point and direction for reform in the construction industry.At present,the research and application of BIM technology mainly focuses on the design stage,but the application in the construction stage,especially in large complex complexes,is relatively lacking.However,from the development trend of the construction industry,the indepth application of BIM technology in the construction phase is not only the development needs of the industry,but also the urgent need for national construction.Based on the Guangzhou Wanda Mall project,this paper focuses on the application of BIM technology in the construction stage of large complex complexes.The main work is as follows:(1)After analyzing the difficult points of the project,the organizational structure,management and application framework of applying BIM technology were established,and the BIM technical standards and implementation plans were compiled.The engineering application practice of BIM technology in the construction phase of this project proves that the establishment of organizational structure,application framework and unified technical standards is the prerequisite for the smooth implementation of various applications of BIM technology in the construction stage of large complex complex.(2)In the deepening design stage,the BIM technology is applied to masonry bricklaying,electromechanical pipeline collision analysis,steel truss node optimization design,large-span pre-arching design,curtain wall truss type finding and panel process design,etc.By comparing with the traditional deepening design method and the construction process in terms of construction period and cost,it is found that the application of BIM technology to deepening design can produce considerable quantitative benefits.(3)Applying BIM technology to site layout 3D simulation,steel structure roof hoisting construction simulation and construction scheme optimization,tower crane demolition simulation and special equipment assembly simulation,the results show that BIM technology can effectively solve the problem that construction site of large complex complex projects.However,there are many problems such as,more interspersed with flow construction,frequent cross-construction,hoisting of prefabricated parts,assembling or mechanical equipment.(4)Combine relevant software and tools to apply BIM technology to project schedule management,cost management,safety management and quality management,and effectively improve project management efficiency without increasing or decreasing costs.(5)Analysis of the cost-effectiveness of BIM technology applied in the construction phase of Wanda Mall project.The results show that personnel cost accounts for the largest proportion of BIM technology application cost.The quantifiable benefits of BIM technology are mainly composed of three parts: deepening design,construction scheme simulation and contract revenue(This part does not apply to all projects).The three-part composition,through the rational use of BIM technology and optimization of cost structure,can ultimately achieve positive returns.
