Building Information Modeling(BIM),as the informatization technology of key development of China's construction industry,has been successfully applied to the entire life cycle of construction projects,and the application in transportation infrastructure construction industry is still in the initial stage.The engineering practice proves that the application of BIM technology can not only improve the quality of the project completion,but also greatly shorten the construction period and reduce the construction cost.For steel bridge deck pavement engineering,efficient construction organization management and strict control of the construction process are the key to ensure the construction quality of steel bridge deck pavement.Therefore,this paper explores the specific method for applying the BIM technology to simulate the construction process of the steel bridge deck pavement.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,the thesis summarizes the characteristics of the typical pavement of steel bridge deck from three aspects of pavement material,pavement structure and construction technology,and defines four types of construction simulation elements of steel bridge deck pavement: steel bridge,steel bridge pavement,construction machinery and construction plan.Then from the perspective of their implementation modeling,the concept of Level of Details(LOD)is introduced.According to the requirements of the construction simulation,the modeling accuracy of the construction simulation elements should reach the LOD 300.Secondly,combining BIM construction simulation technology and the characteristics of the typical paving of steel bridge deck,the thesis proposes the implementation flow of the construction simulation of steel bridge deck pavement based on BIM technology.Based on this implementation process and the correlational study of BIM technology,an overall framework for the construction simulation system of steel bridge deck pavement based on BIM technology is established,which describes the technical framework for implementing construction simulation and the implementation framework model of the construction simulation system in detail.According to the function of system,the implementation framework model is divided into three parts,which are BIM database module,modeling design module,and construction simulation module,and then elaborates the specific functions of these modules respectively.Thirdly,the relational database(MySQL software)is selected as the kernel platform of the BIM database module by analyzing the characteristics of the IFC data file and comparing different types of BIM database.Through the conceptual design and logical design of BIM database,the function of storing IFC data is preliminarily realized.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the mainstream commercial BIM core modeling software,Revit software is selected as the kernel platform of the modeling design module,and the data link with the BIM database is realized through Revit secondary development.Then based on the princple of parametric modeling,the thesis proposes the composition of construction sub-information model component library and the method of modeling.Taking the Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge as an example,the paper elaborates the modeling process of the component library of construction simulation elements and the assembly method of construction sub-information models,and realizes the assembly of Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge model.Finally,based on the Navisworks platform which is chosen as the kernel platform for the construction simulation module,the thesis proposed the method for building the construction simulation information model and the technical flow for the 4D construction simulation of the steel bridge deck pavement.In this paper,the steel bridge deck pavement construction simulation system is used to carry out the 4D construction simulation of the steel bridge deck pavement of Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge,which verifies the function of this system.At last,the optimization of BIM technology for steel bridge deck pavement construction is analyzed from the aspects of comparison of construction plans,optimization of construction schedule,layout of construction site,and construction resource management.This paper establishes the implementation process of steel bridge deck pavement construction simulation,which proves that the implementation process is feasible and has practical engineering application value.It provides the theoretical guidance for the further application of BIM technology in the steel bridge deck pavement engineering field.
