Under the background of Smart Grid,demand response,as an efficient load management tool,can change the inherent energy consumption pattern of terminal power users,develop the adjustment ability of power demand side,and improve the efficiency of resource utilization and the stable operation ability of power grid.Home energy management system(HEMS),as the most intuitive display platform for smart grid,combines advanced communication and control technology and creates conditions for home users to participate in demand response.Based on smart electricity price,this dissertation studies the optimal control strategy of HEMS,develops an experimental system of HEMS to experimentally simulate the entire process in which multiple home users participate in demand response.The main research work of this dissertation is listed as follows:Firstly,overall structure of HEMS is designed,and then basic model of designed system is established,including smart electricity price model,energy consumption model of home users and electricity consumption model of household equipment model.Secondly,aiming at minimizing the electricity bills of all home users,optimal dispatch model of HEMS is established separately under two different circumstances of household without photovoltaic access and with photovoltaic access,integer programming algorithm is applied to optimize the model.Simulation of example is carried out respectively under real-time and time-of-use two typical electricity price mechanisms.Simulation results are used to analyze the impact of home users' participation in demand response on their own electricity consumption pattern and electricity bills.Thirdly,to realize the goal of household equipment energy consumption visualization,intelligent load control and auxiliary decision-making for electricity consumption,a home energy management experiment system is developed,and detailed design process of the experimental system including hardware and software parts was given.The hardware part consists of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage systems,smart plugs,communication modules and system architecture models,the software part contains smart plug program,host computer program and user management interface.Finally,optimized control strategy of HEMS is combined with the developed experimental system,and experiments are carried out to study the whole process of multiple home users participating in demand response in response to real-time electricity price.The experimental system is used to simulate loads' power,loads' schedule strategy,electricity bills and other data of all households before and after optimization control.Then,the statistical data above are compared and analyzed.The results of study in this dissertation show that home energy management experiment system has functions of household equipment energy consumption visualization,intelligent load control and auxiliary decision-making for electricity consumption,which can guide the experimental research of demand side management algorithm.At the same time,the experimental system can also provide reference for the practical application and promotion of HEMS,HEMS can enable flexible two-way interaction between electric power company and home users,assist families to participate in demand response,and reduce the cost of household electricity consumption and peak load.
